The 1921 Green Bay Packers were sponsored by the Acme Meat Packing Company. Acme donated $500.00 to the team and all members had to wear the "Acme Packers" Jersey for a game against the Decatur Staleys, who later became the Chicago Bears. After that game some players kept wearing the "Acme Packers" jersey and others did not.
