On May 25, 1965 Muhammad Ali (then Cassius Clay) defended and retained the WBC Heavyweight Boxing Championship with this first round knockout of Sonny Liston at the Central Maine Youth Center in Lewiston, Maine. This was a rematch of the first bout which took place on February 25, 1964 where Clay stunned everyone by upsetting Liston ad winning the Heavyweight belt.
